If you looked at that list and sadly shook your head, thinking “I could never be a warrior. I don’t have any of those qualities,” I have good news for you. None of us, when just entering the Army of God, have these in measurable quantities. We are in training. Our Commander In Chief is instructing and slowly growing you, the young warrior.
Just because you are in training does not mean you will be shielded from the war. Sometimes our most valuable lessons are leaned while on the front lines. This is war: Satan will not cease his attacks while Jesus raises an army against him. Satan will do everything in his power to ensure these young warriors are exposed to enemy fire as often as possible.
This is why we must take every opportunity to learn and grow as Christ’s warriors. We must grow and strengthen our competence as quickly as we can. This generation of young Christians has the potential to change the course of history if we grow to be strong warriors! These years are your training camp. Look to your Lord and follow His example, so that when you grow older, you will be a powerful and formidable foe against Satan!
Psalm 34:7 “The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.”
